Manufacturing Process

Steel in the form of billets is loaded into an automatic temperature regulation oven that ensures an adequate heating of the material.

Material descaling, before going on to the rolling boxes, removes the surface oxide layer, in this way avoiding any chance of surface damage in later rolling.

After the rolling, in which the profile can reach lengths of up to 22 metres, it is cut into variable lengths up to a maximum of 18 metres rails maximun weigth 46 Kg/m or 91 Lb/yd.

Later straightening by means of rolls guarantees optimum conditions regarding the straightness of the profiles.

Upon request by the client, profiles can be supplied cut cold and drilled.

Apart from the mandatory raw material Reception Control, a Heating Control, a Dimensional Control, Straightening Control and a Final Control are carried out, throughout the Manufacturing Process.
